Q:How to adding ringtones to memory card on Verizon Nokia 7705?

Answer:Okay, so just solved this one today. I’m really happy about it.

So, I’m going to assume that you have formated your card in your phone, this way there are little folders in it so that there is a place for “my music” and “my sounds.” While the card is in the computer, make sure the songs are in “my sounds.” They can also be in the music folder, but they need to be in “my sounds” at least. I believe they go to both if you send them to your phone via bluetooth.

Then you go to the “Media Center” and click “Music & Tones.” Then you click on “My Sounds.” You select the sound and then hit “set as” which is the left soft key. The first option makes it your all over phone ring. The second lets you make it a ringer ID.

Before I did this I used Audacity and LAME to make the MP3 shorter and optimized for a phone. The Audacity Wiki goes through this. This works for both Mac and PC platforms.

Let me know if you have questions.

I found this solutions from nokiausa.com
